Description
Duca Amedeo Camping Village is located in Martinsicuro, on the Abruzzo coast, in a strategic position: approximately 200 metres from the town centre, close to the sea and at the same time away from the railway line, which is located about 1 km away.
Surrounded by greenery, with olive trees, palm trees and maples, the village is designed especially for families, couples and guests who wish to enjoy a relaxing holiday without giving up services, sports and entertainment.
Its location also makes it easy to reach the villages of the Abruzzo hinterland, the Gran Sasso National Park and numerous destinations along the coast.
Private Beach Just a Short Walk Away
The beach service, reserved for guests, is located approximately 100 metres from the property. Included in the booking are one beach umbrella, one sun lounger and one deck chair. To access the beach, simply contact the beach establishment staff and provide your accommodation number.
The beach features sand and a gently sloping seabed, making it particularly suitable for families with children.
Indicative beach opening hours: 09:00 – 19:00 (Beach Manager break 12:30 – 15:00).
Swimming Pool
At the heart of the village there is a swimming pool with a children’s area, slide and hydromassage area, ideal for relaxing. The pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace with sun loungers. Opening hours are 09:30 to 12:30 and 16:00 to 19:00; wearing a swimming cap is compulsory. The pool is open from 29/05 to 14/09 (subject to organisational changes or weather conditions).
Entertainment for Everyone: From Activities to Sports Tournaments
The entertainment team offers a varied and enjoyable programme for all ages. Start the day with morning exercise and continue with activities such as aqua gym, group dancing, beach games and sports tournaments. In the evening, shows, parties and themed events await you, while younger children (aged 3 and over) can enjoy the mini club with creative workshops, games, group activities and baby dance. Older children can also take part in activities designed to socialise, have fun and enjoy the holiday with their peers at the Junior Club. Entertainment is available during the high season.
Sports and Outdoor Activities
From the village you can reach the coastal cycle path, with routes extending for several kilometres along the Abruzzo coastline.
It is also possible to organise excursions into the hinterland and surrounding hills, an area characterised by villages, wineries, farms and local wine and olive oil production.
A bicycle rental service is also available.
Padel: thanks to the agreement with Magic Sport, guests can use padel courts located approximately 1 km from the village, just a few minutes away.
The village also provides free use of a five-a-side football pitch and a bowls court. There is also a table tennis table, table football, darts, board games and video games with a PlayStation 5 station.
During the season, evenings and events dedicated to local culture and gastronomy are organised.
Among the most popular events are Abruzzo-themed celebrations with arrosticini offered to guests, according to the seasonal events calendar.
Dining and Local Flavours
Approximately 80 metres from the village is UMA Beach Club, a partner venue where guests can eat and also use the take-away service.
Guests of Duca Amedeo can benefit from the seasonal partner arrangements according to the procedures communicated by the property.
Inside the village there is a bar, a convenient place for breakfast, drinks, pizza and snacks.
Less than 1 km from the village, guests can also find shops, restaurants, venues and outlets selling local products.
Services
The village has a dedicated barbecue and picnic area. It is not permitted to use your own barbecue at your mobile home. To use the barbecue or picnic area, booking via the Duca Amedeo App, QR code or according to the property’s instructions is required. After use, the area must be left clean and tidy.
The village provides guests with free Wi-Fi.
Connection procedures and any access credentials can be requested at Reception.
A safe-deposit service, coin-operated laundry and, for water sports enthusiasts, the possibility to rent canoes and SUP boards are available.
A transfer service to/from the railway station or the relevant bus stop is also available upon reservation, subject to availability and the conditions communicated by Reception.
Useful Information
- Quiet hours: 14:00 to 16:00 and 00:00 to 07:00. Reception closes at 20:00, and guests are advised to arrive by that time.
- At check-in, guests receive an identification wristband to be worn throughout the stay.
- Tourist tax: € 1.50 per person per day, applied from 11 May to 16 September to guests over 14 years of age, for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights, subject to changes in municipal regulations. The tax is not included in the price of the stay, unless otherwise stated.
(The tourist tax amounts indicated for the 2027 season are those currently communicated and may be subject to increases or changes following subsequent provisions issued by the competent Municipality. At the time of the stay, the amount then in force will be applied).
Service and entertainment schedules, as well as organisational arrangements, may change during the season. For updates, please check the Duca Amedeo App, Reception and the property’s official communications.
Pets (max 25 kg)
Dogs are allowed upon request and for a fee (max 1 dog per accommodation).
When booking, please inform our booking office of the dog’s weight and breed in order to obtain approval from the property.
For other pets, prior confirmation from the Happy Camp Booking Office is required, and the office will check with the campsite whether the animal can be accepted.
The charge for one pet is € 8.00 per day or € 50.00 per week, plus a € 20.00 cleaning fee payable on site.
Pets must always be kept on a leash, accompanied by a responsible person, must not disturb other guests and must be managed in compliance with hygiene rules. The owner is responsible for collecting pet waste and for any damage caused by the animal.
Unless otherwise specified by the property, pets may not access the swimming pool, playgrounds, sanitary facilities, sports fields or the partner beach.
The village offers pet-friendly services, including two dog exercise areas, a partner veterinarian and a self-service grooming area. For access to the sea with a dog, there is a Bau Beach approximately 800 metres from the village. Please also note that pets are not allowed at the partner beach establishment where the beach service is included for Happy Camp guests.

Cancellation Policy
If you decide to cancel your booking with Happy Camp, penalties will be applied as indicated:
Reservations have to be cancelled by sending an email to our office at: info@happycamp.com
- Up to 30 days before arrival: No penalty, full refund of the amount paid.
- From the 29th to the 9th day before arrival: 50% penalty on the total amount.
- From the 8th to the 4th day prior to arrival: 75% penalty on the total amount.
- From the 3rd day prior to arrival: No refund (100% penalty).
