Description
The Bella Italia Sardinia Camping Village covers an area of approximately 10 hectares, immersed in greenery, nature, and the typical landscape of the north-western coast of Sardinia. The property enjoys a privileged panoramic position overlooking the Gulf of Asinara, one of the most evocative stretches of sea on the island, renowned for its clear waters, marine biodiversity, and protected natural landscapes extending to the National Park. This setting makes the campsite ideal for relaxation, the sea, and close contact with nature.
The village overlooks the Platamona beach, in the municipality of Sorso, in the heart of the Romangia area, characterized by vineyards, olive groves, and Mediterranean landscapes. It is close to Porto Torres (about 12 km) and Alghero (about 40 km), and approximately 50 km from La Pelosa beach, famous for its white sand, shallow waters, and turquoise-to-deep-blue hues, as well as about 45 km from Stintino, an ideal destination for day trips.
Beach
One of the campsite’s main strengths is its immediate proximity to the sea. The Platamona beach, with its long stretch of fine, light-colored sand, is accessible via a safe internal underpass, allowing guests to reach the beach without crossing roads. Thanks to its shallow seabed, it is ideal for families with children, as well as for relaxation and enjoying the crystal-clear waters of northern Sardinia.
Swimming pools and sunbathing area
The resort features two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, ideal for alternating beach days with moments of relaxation. The pools are surrounded by a fully equipped sunbathing area with sun loungers, perfect for sunbathing and unwinding.
Entertainment and activities for all ages
During the summer season (from mid-June to mid-September), the village offers a varied entertainment program for all ages. Children can enjoy the mini club and evening baby dance, while adults can take part in sports tournaments, group games, and aqua gym. Evenings feature shows and family-friendly entertainment, creating a lively atmosphere.
The property also provides sports facilities, including five-a-side football, basketball courts, table tennis, and a children’s playground. Bicycle rental is available for guests wishing to explore the area along nearby cycling routes.
Market and dining
For maximum convenience, the village offers a minimarket with baked goods, fruit and vegetables, daily necessities, and souvenirs.
The restaurant-pizzeria serves Mediterranean cuisine and offers a take-away service, while the bar and ice cream parlor are ideal for a refreshing break, breakfast, or relaxation during the day.
Services and comfort
The village provides a range of services designed for comfort and practicality, including coin-operated washing machines and dryers and an excursion desk for organizing activities, visits, and experiences to discover the natural and cultural attractions of Sardinia.
Important to know:
It is not possible to make name changes on guests during their stay. This means that guests registered at check-in will not be able to be replaced by other persons during their stay.
Dogs (max. 35 kg):
Dogs allowed upon request and for a fee (maximum one dog per mobile home).
Cost: €8.00 per day or €50.00 per week, plus a €20.00 cleaning fee payable on site.
Guests are advised to consult the property regulations and the applicable local rules.

Air conditioning: an additional charge of €5.00 per day, to be paid on site.
Deposit: €100.00 in cash, to be paid at the arrival.
Final cleaning: we kindly ask you to leave the mobile home clean and tidy; otherwise, €40.00 will be deducted from the deposit.
Pets: the cost for a dog is €8.00 per day or €50.00 per week, plus €20.00 for cleaning, to be paid on site.
Tourist tax: depending on the municipality of the campsite (we recommend contacting the campsite directly for the rate).
Optional Extra Services:
If you don’t want to bring everything from home, you can book the following services up to 7 days before arrival, with payment at the campsite:
Double bed linen set: €20.00 per set.
Single bed linen set: €15.00 per set.
Towel set: €10.00 per set (includes one shower towel and one face towel).
Baby cot (without mattress): €3.00 per day.
High chair: €3.00 per day.
Please note that blankets and pillows are already provided in every accommodation.
Check-in and Check-out
Upon arrival, you will find the Happy Camp Reception and the Park Managers ready to assist you with check-in, key collection, and any requests. The reception's opening hours will be visible at the main Happy Camp desk.
- Check-in: available from 4:00 PM.
- Check-out: by 10:00 AM.
For families and groups of friends wishing to book more than two mobile homes, we kindly ask you to contact us by email so we can check availability and confirm acceptance by the campsite.
We kindly invite young guests aged 18 to 25 to send us a request via email, allowing us to verify the possibility of admission by the campsite.
Minors are not allowed to stay alone and are only admitted if staying in the same mobile home with a parent or responsible adult, subject to prior request sent via email.
Cancellation Policy
- Up to 30 days before arrival: No penalty, full refund of the amount paid.
- From the 29th to the 9th day before arrival: 50% penalty on the total amount.
- From the 8th to the 4th day prior to arrival: 75% penalty on the total amount.
- From the 3rd day prior to arrival: No refund (100% penalty).
