Description
Camping Bonavista is located in Calella, a popular seaside resort on the Costa del Maresme, about 50 km from Barcelona. It is an ideal destination for guests looking for a holiday combining sea, nature and culture, with convenient services available directly at the campsite.
The surrounding area is characterized by long stretches of golden sandy beaches and traditional fishing villages. Thanks to its strategic location, Camping Bonavista is also a good starting point for discovering some of the most interesting destinations in Catalonia.
About 10 km away, you can visit Canet de Mar, known for the impressive Castell de Santa Florentina, while the historic city of Girona is approximately 50 km away. Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts can explore the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park, about 20 km from the campsite, an ideal area for trekking, hiking and scenic routes.
The campsite is terraced and located on a headland, offering pleasant sea views.
The Happy Camp mobile homes are located in a terraced and hilly area of the campsite, where the terrain is not completely flat and includes uphill sections and sloping paths. Guests should therefore take this into consideration, particularly when using pushchairs, trolleys or other mobility equipment.
Beaches near Camping Bonavista
Thanks to its location, Camping Bonavista provides easy access to several beaches in and around Calella.
Cala Roca Grossa, located directly in front of the campsite exit, is a natural beach with sand and rocks, particularly suitable for guests who prefer smaller and more secluded coves.
Approximately 2 km away is Platja del Garbí, a beach with a mix of sand and pebbles and several facilities. Here guests can enjoy a floating playground and various water sports activities organized by the Water Sports Centre.
A little further away is Platja Gran de Calella, the town's main beach. It is approximately 1.5 km long and reaches a width of up to 70 metres. Facilities include beach volleyball and five-a-side football courts, chiringuitos, children's play areas and spaces for sports and entertainment, making it particularly suitable for families with children.
Swimming pools and waterslides
Camping Bonavista has two swimming pools: a deeper pool for adults, suitable for swimming and relaxing, and a shallow children's pool designed for younger guests.
The swimming pool area offers a convenient alternative to the beach, especially on warmer days or for guests who prefer to relax within the campsite.
The swimming pools are open from 01/05 to 03/10, depending on weather conditions.
For the 2027 season, the pool area will also feature two new waterslides and a solarium area.
Sports activities and entertainment
Camping Bonavista offers several opportunities for sports and leisure activities.
Facilities include a five-a-side football pitch, a small basketball court shared with the table tennis area, one table tennis table (rackets are not provided) and a well-equipped children's playground.
An entertainment programme is available during the high season only.
A new chill-out area will also be introduced for the 2027 season.
Restaurant and services
The campsite has a restaurant with bar service, where guests can enjoy meals and drinks without leaving the campsite.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the reception area.
The campsite also provides an automatic laundry area with 2 washing machines, available at a cost of €7.00 per wash. Payment is by card only.
Important information
Happy Premium mobile homes can accommodate up to 6 adults.
The reception is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Please note that check-in is possible until 8:00 p.m. Guests are therefore advised to plan their arrival accordingly and to inform Happy Camp in case of arrival after 8:00 p.m.
A second car is not permitted.
The tourist tax is €0.99 per night, per person from 17 years of age, for a maximum of 7 nights.

Minors are not allowed to stay alone and are only admitted if staying in the same mobile home with a parent or responsible adult, subject to prior request sent via email.

Cancellation Policy
If you decide to cancel your booking with Happy Camp, penalties will be applied as indicated:
Reservations have to be cancelled by sending an email to our office at: info@happycamp.com
- Up to 30 days before arrival: No penalty, full refund of the amount paid.
- From the 29th to the 9th day before arrival: 50% penalty on the total amount.
- From the 8th to the 4th day prior to arrival: 75% penalty on the total amount.
- From the 3rd day prior to arrival: No refund (100% penalty).
