	General Booking Conditions and added costs
	Deposit/ Cleaning/ Inventory On arrival you will be required to pay a deposit of €100 in cash for each accommodation unit. Your Park Manager will give you a signed receipt for this, which you must return at the end of your holiday in order to get your deposit back. Without this receipt your deposit will not be returned. To receive a full refund of your €80 deposit you must leave the accommodation clean (we pay special attention to the cleanliness of your bathroom, fridge and cooker). A deduction of €30 for a final clean will be taken from your deposit if your accommodation is not clean when you leave. However, the bathroom, fridge and cooker must always be cleaned. Happy Camp provides a good inventory for up to 6 people and we would ask that you respect our equipment taking care to avoid breakages. Any charges incurred as a result of breakages will be deducted from your deposit at the end of your holiday.
	Parking A parking space for 1 car is included in the price and will usually be next to your accommodation or in a designated internal car park on site. For those who wish to park a 2nd car, there may be a charge, so we kindly ask you to look at each specific campsite description for details on tariffs.
	Barbecue Every Happy Camp tent and mobile home is provided with a gas or charcoal barbecue, except on campsites where barbecues are not allowed. Again, please look at the individual campsite description for details.
	Arrival & Departure Happy Camp accommodation will be available from 16:00 on the day of arrival, and must be vacated no later than 10:00 on the day of departure. For France - Spain - Croatia & Hungary: Minimum 3 nights’ stay from opening till 27.06.09 and from 5.09.09 to closing of each campsite. From Saturday to Saturday from 27.06.09 (understood as arrival date) till 05.09.09 (understood as departure date). For Village le Parisien: minimum of 2 nights’ stay throughout the whole season!!! For Italy: Minimum 3 nights’ stay from opening till 30.05.09 (understood as arrival date), from 13.06.09 (understood as arrival date) till 27.06.09 (understood as departure date) and from 5.09.09 (understood as arrival date) to closing of each campsite. From Saturday to Saturday from 30.05.09 (understood as arrival date) till 13.06.09 (understood as departure date) and from 27.06.09 (understood as arrival date) till 05.09.09 (understood as departure date). For Union Lido - Marina di Venezia & Bella Italia: *From Saturday to Saturday from 30.05.09 (understood as arrival date) al 13.06.09 (understood as departure date)and from 27.06.09 (understood as arrival date) al 12.09.09 (understood as arrival date). For Sardinia: each booking must be weekly but not necessarily from Saturday to Saturday. That is, they can be made mid-week for the minimum duration of 1 week in order to allow for cheaper ferry crossing tickets.
	Currency & Valuables All prices in the catalogue are in Euros but please be aware that we also offer holidays in countries which still operate with local currency, in Croatia: The currency of Croatia is the Kuna, Also, almost every campsite will have a safety deposit box available at the reception. We recommend you use this for any valuables you bring with you.
	Pets Are not allowed in Happy Camp accommodation.
	Happy Camp Reception Happy Camp has at least one Park Manager on every campsite who will be at Happy Camp reception and will show you to your tent/mobile home. He/she will be available to answer your questions and provide help and information to you throughout your holiday. On all campsites the staff will be English speaking.
	Campsite Regulations All campsites have their own regulations, to which everyone – not depending upon and including Happy Camp - must comply. In order to enjoy your holiday we advise that you please observe these regulations, and respect the accommodation, campsite and other guests. You can obtain details of these regulations from the campsite reception.
	No smoking No smoking inside any facility Happy Camp.
	Entertainment All our campsites provide entertainment in high season (July, August) with sport courses, mini clubs, shows and entertainment in the evening for both adults and children. In low season some campsites offer a smaller, more limited programme.
	Swimming Pools On all our campsites, access to the swimming pool is included in the price. On some campsites you will have to wear a swimming cap. On certain campsites you may need a card or wristband, which will be provided by our Park Managers or the campsite itself on your arrival, by paying a deposit. 	Camping Life Camping involves living in a natural environment and it is therefore possible that you will come across one or two of God’s smaller creatures!
	Visitor’s/ Tourist Tax In France, Croatia & Hungary you must pay a daily tourist tax on arrival. This is a local tax and must be paid directly to the campsite.
	Hire of Cots & High Chairs and Special Requests We kindly ask you to let us know at the time of booking if you require a cot/highchair for your child, for which there is a charge of €1.50 per item, per day, which must be paid directly to our Park Managers. We will pass on any other special requests, for example for a shady emplacement, close to friends, a quiet pitch, close to the toilet facilities etc…but we cannot always guarantee 100% that the requests will be carried out. We will, of course try our best to satisfy them.
	Low Season Often Happy Camp opens on the same day the Campsite itself opens and sometimes, in low season, not all facilities are available or may be limited, in need of further maintenance or, in the case of swimming pools, opening can be dependent on the weather. We would ask you, therefore, to kindly consider that Happy Camp and, often, the campsites themselves, cannot guarantee the opening or full functionality of campsite facilities on time as they may be delayed due to force majeur.
