It is located on a terraced hill with a beautiful view of the crystal blue Tyrrhenian Sea
and of the picturesque medieval town of Castagneto Carducci. It is immersed in a forest of
maritime pines, olive trees and oaks, and it is the perfect place for an active holiday, as
it offers a wide range of activities, including tennis, archery, volleyball, aerobics,
5-a-side football and jogging. The area in which the campsite is set is a paradise for those
who love cycling due to its numerous bicycle trails. The site is particularly suitable for
children, who can swim in the pools, enjoy themselves on the water slides, have fun at the
Mini Club, and play on the "crenellated castle".
Beach: partly sandy and partly pebbly with a sloping seabed, the beach is situated 7km from the campsite. Free with an area where you can hire parasols and sunbeds (available at an extra charge). The campsite offers a free shuttle bus service to the beach during high season (July and August only).
Swimming pool: one swimming pool for children with a slide and water features, and another for adults equipped with parasols and sun loungers. Pools open from April to mid-September.
Animation and sporting activities: a wide range of daytime and evening activities for children (Mini Club, sports tournaments, baby dance) and for adults (various sporting activities). Available in July and August.
Sports courts for 5-a-side football and beach volleyball; mini golf; table tennis. Available at an extra cost: tennis court; bike hire. Aerobics and mountain biking also available. Also available at an extra cost: a series of beauty treatments for wellbeing and relaxation.
Bars and restaurants: pizzeria-restaurant with stunning views from the terrace, take away, bar, ice-cream parlour.
Shops: market.
Services: cashpoint, launderette, doctor (available on request).
Included in Mobile home: water, gas, electricity, heating.
Included in Tent: gas, electricity.
To inform at the time of booking: Linen hire, reservation of cots and/ or high chairs, 5th and 6th person.
To pay on site: cot and high chair, €2.00 per item per day, tourist tax (0.50 € per person/night from 01.05 to 30.09, children up to 13 years old are free).
Deposit: €100, in cash, payable on arrival.
Linen: not offered as standard but can be ordered at time of booking at Happy Camp tariff.
Final cleaning: you must leave the accommodation clean or we will deduct €30 from your deposit.
Arrival and departure: your accommodation will be available from 16:00 on day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10:00 on day of departure.
Barbecues: barbecues in designated areas only. .

On the Etruscan coast, less than 3 km from Castagneto Carducci. In Piombino (about 32 km) you can catch the ferry to the Island of Elba. Pisa is 82 km away, and Siena is about 100 km from the campsite. Towns that are worth a visit: Bolgheri (10 km), Campiglia Marittima (19 km), Suvereto (24 km) and Populonia (28 km).
From motorway A12, take the Rosignano Marittimo exit.
Follow the superstrada SS1 (Livorno- Grossetto) and exit at Donoratico, then follow the signs for Castagneto Carducci and turn left at the junction. The campsite is 1km along this road on the right.

Happy Standard Mobile Home
Our newer range, the Standard is light and spacious, with a look that is both modern and comfortable which is sure to make you feel at home. There is one double bedroom and a second bedroom that can sleep a minimum of 2 adults and 1 child. The design of the small bedroom may vary from campsite to campsite.
The kitchen area has a refrigerator, with a small chiller compartment, a 4-ring gas hob and adequate electrical points. The seating area can be used as additional sleeping space. Inventory is provided for 6 persons. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and WC. All bedroom windows are fitted with mosquito nets. Comfortable garden furniture with table, chairs, parasol, 2 sun-loungers and a barbecue (if permitted by the campsite) are situated outside the mobile home.
