Immersed in the Maremma area and shaded by olive trees, pines, and eucalyptus, Le Capanne is the perfect place for people who like the outdoors and nature. The campsite takes particular care of its younger guests and offers many services and activities for children; the pool area and the sport activities will also be fun for older guests. We suggest excursions by bike or horseback and hikes through the Tuscan countryside, in addition to sunbathing on the long sandy beaches.

Beach: A large, sandy beach situated approx. 3km from the campsite. Free with an area where you can hire parasols and sunbeds. The campsite offers a free shuttle bus service to and from the beach during high season.

Swimming pool: Swimming pool for children with slides and various water features; swimming pool for adults with Jacuzzi and equipped with parasols and sun loungers (subject to availability). Pools open from 21.04 to 23.09.

Animation and sporting activities: Daytime and evening activities for children with sports tounaments, recreational activities and evening entertainment; available from the beginning of June to the end of August. There is also a playground on site.

5-a-side football and beach volleyball; table tennis. Available at an extra cost: tennis court; Capanne Adventure Golf; bike hire.

Bars and restaurants: steak house,pizzeria-restaurant, bar, snack bar, ice-cream parlour.

Shops: market.

Services: cashpoint, safe-deposit boxes for hire, launderette, internet wi-fi, doctor (on stated days and in high season only).

Mobile home: water, gas, electricity, heating.
Tent: gas, electricity.
To inform at the time of booking: Linen hire, reservation of cots and/ or high chairs, 5th and 6th person.
To pay on site: cot and high chair, €2.00 per item per day, tourist tax.
Deposit: €100, in cash, payable on arrival.
Linen: not offered as standard but can be ordered at time of booking at Happy Camp tariff.
Final cleaning: you must leave the accommodation clean or we will deduct €30 from your deposit.
Arrival and departure: your accommodation will be available from 16:00 on day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10:00 on day of departure.
Parking: Parking for all vehicles in internal and external car parks.
Barbecues: allowed only in a designated areas of the campsite.

Position : on the Etruscan Coast, about 2 km away from the centre of Marina di Bibbona and 3 km from its beaches. From Piombino ( about 49 km ) you can take the ferryboat to the Isalnd of Elba. Many places to visit : Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Pia, Bolgheri, Castegneto Carducci, the gulf of Baratti, Populonia, Punta Ala.

Leave the A12 motorway at Rosignano Marittimo and follow the superstrada SS1 (Livorno to Grossetto). Exit the superstrada at La California and carry on the SP39 direction sud (south) for approximately 3km.

Tent

The traditional tents are for 6 people. In the tent (around 25m2) you will find two separate sleeping compartments: one with a double bed (195cm x 135cm) and one with three single beds (195cm x 68cm). A 6^th bed is available when requested at the time of booking. In the kitchen of the tent you will find a 3-ring cooker, fridge, and full inventory of camping equipment. Outside furniture includes a parasol, barbecue (If permitted by the campsite), 2 sun-loungers, table and chairs.

Happy Standard Mobile Home

Our newer range, the Standard is light and spacious, with a look that is both modern and comfortable which is sure to make you feel at home. There is one double bedroom and a second bedroom that can sleep a minimum of 2 adults and 1 child. The design of the small bedroom may vary from campsite to campsite.

The kitchen area has a refrigerator, with a small chiller compartment, a 4-ring gas hob and adequate electrical points. The seating area can be used as additional sleeping space. Inventory is provided for 6 persons. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and WC. All bedroom windows are fitted with mosquito nets. Comfortable garden furniture with table, chairs, parasol, 2 sun-loungers and a barbecue (if permitted by the campsite) are situated outside the mobile home.
